A s soon as you step inside the library, you will be awestruck by its grandeur. Established in 1368 by Duke Albrecht III, the Austrian National Library is also one of the oldest and most beautiful libraries in the world. The old baroque library of the Habsburg empire is located in Hofburg Palace.

The library’s main building is the magnificent Palais Mollard-Clary, which was built in the 18th century by famous Baroque architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. A HOME FOR THE WORLD’S LARGEST BOOK
